Announcing a new publication that will be read by more than 100,000
academics nationwide... ![]() Trying to reach academics? Editorial Relevance
The Lingua Franca Book Review is written specifically
for academics -- bibliophiles who not only
read and buy books, but also write books. The Lingua Franca Book Review
is the first publication to meet the needs of those in the academy who live
by the phrase, "publish or perish." In addition to book reviews,
each issue of The Lingua Franca Book Review also features a column
forecasting acquisition trends in scholarly publishing and a column devoted
to the academic author. It provides information that academics can use and
that they can't get anywhere else.
All of this is brought to you by the editors of Lingua Franca, winner
and repeat nominee of the National Magazine Award, who consistently get
the scoops and identify the trends in academia. The New York Times calls
us, "Required reading for the cerebral set."
The circulation is larger than any other publication's with a faculty readership. Campus bookstores will distribute each issue to faculty
members through the campus mail system or by hand so that more than 100,000
academics see each issue. Rates for 1998*
